Pilar Latorre

Pilar Latorre is a Catalan cooking instructor who recently moved to live in Madrid. She has abandoned her former profession as a lawyer to be exclusively devoted to what has been her main passion in life: cooking. This solid vocation has been matched for years with a solid training at some of the best cooking schools in Europe, such as Cordon Bleu in Paris, and courses at the most prestigious restaurants in Spain and France.

Apart from being an active chef, Pilar is also a veteran traveler all over the world, and particularly in Asia, where she has got a deep knowledge of Asian cuisines that has helped her to develop her personal fusion cooking. She is usual attendant to the most reputed culinary Congresses as well as good friend of many of the mastered chefs who are bringing the Nueva Cocina of Spain further than never before.

We have asked Pilar to design an exclusive half-day cooking class based on some of the recipes of these prestigious Spanish chefs. According to her Catalan roots, she has chosen several recipes from Ferran Adrian and Santi SantamarĂ­a, the two 3 Michelin stars in Catalonia. Pilar will teach you how to prepare a full meal based on these signature dishes that don't require  any professional equipment for you to be able to prepare them at home.
