Le Mas des Oliviers is a luxuriously renovated Provençal villa overlooking the Mediterranean on the Côte d'Azur. The breathtaking views towards the Bay of Cannes, Les Iles de Lérins and Cap d'Antibes help to make your vacation one you'll never forget. Situated just fifteen minutes from the glamour of Cannes, yet only ten minutes away from the wonderful walks along the the wild red cliffs of the Estérel, the villa offers you the sophistication and excitement of the Riviera in a tranquil and relaxed environment.


Principal Bedrooms The villa features five highly decorated guest bedrooms all with top quality double beds, bathrooms en-suite and individually controlled electric heat and air conditioning. The three principal bedrooms have stunning sea views and French doors leading out to the terrace. Each en-suite bathroom has colorful hand-painted tiles, double basins with marble tops and a separate bath and shower. The bed in the Tulip room can be separated into twin beds.

Upper Bedrooms The two upper bedrooms are accessed by separate entrances, each bedroom having an en-suite bathroom and shower. Both of the bathrooms in these rooms also have beautifully hand painted tiles and marble basin tops. The bed in the Sunlight room can be separated into twin beds.

The Living Room
The living room is spacious and light and leads out onto a vast upper terrace. The terrace has its own seating area, retractable awnings and a fantastic panoramic view of the sea. As you sit back and relax on the terrace you can enjoy the spectacular view of the Bay of Cannes, Les Iles de Lérins and Cap d'Antibes. The living room has its own stereo, CD player, Cable TV and VCR and contains a collection of fine art by Parisian artist, Pierre de Mougins.

Dining The dining room seats twelve and is warm and inviting, it is decorated in a Provençal style with local pottery and antique buffet. There is also a dining area outside, the large terrace table also seating twelve with the added bonus of fantastic views over the Mediterranean.

The Pool Area The villa has a beautifully designed swimming pool with a flow-over effect that makes you feel at one with the sea as you peer over the edge. The pool is tiled with antique Italian marble and has a connecting Jacuzzi. The pool has an Ozonator treatment system that eliminates the need for chlorine and provides for clearer water. The pool can be heated and has a shallow end for children. An elegant terra-cotta terrace and a beautiful garden of olive trees, jasmine, lavender and herbs surround the pool. Teak furniture decorates the terrace with the dining table, lounge chairs and several seating areas.

Your Chef An exciting and innovative chef, Fred is the head chef at Le Mas des Oliviers. Fred's artistic ability and attention to detail personify his attitude towards cooking and food presentation. Fred practices classic French techniques with a contemporary influence to give his dishes color, flavor and decorative style. Fred speaks fluent English and has been running our luxury cooking schools at the Rhode School of Cuisine for the past four years. As your personal chef, Fred will be able to advise you on exciting foods and wines you should sample while enjoying your vacation in the South of France.

Excursions Although it is difficult to tear yourself away from the villa, the cultural excursions in the surrounding villages are numerous, and our friendly staff can help send you in the right direction. Some of the excursions and activities you can enjoy include the celebrated perfume factories in Grasse, the Picasso museums in Antibes and Vallauris, the Matisse Museum and Raoul Dufy Gallery in Nice, or visit the Maeght Gallery and shop in St. Paul de Vence, or spend a day shopping in Cannes and the afternoon on the beach. Our friendly staff can also assist you in organizing a day trip to St. Tropez, Nice or Monte Carlo.

Activities The Villa has a pétanque court on site and also several mountain bikes which can be used to explore the various tracks that run into the Estérel hills. Located within five minutes drive from the villa are floodlit tennis courts, an indoor heated swimming pool, beauty salons and a health spa with massage and aromatherapy. There are also some excellent golf courses in the area including the famous Royal Mougins and the old Cannes course in Mandelieu. The villa is four kilometers from the center of Théoule-sur-Mer where you can find several sandy beaches as well as facilities for water skiing and windsurfing.

2000 $13,500 US per week during the high season months of July, August and September. $9,500 US per week for off season months.
$10,500 US per week during the shoulder months of May, June and October The two weeks over the May Cannes Film Festival are available at $15,000 US per week.
A deposit of 30% is to be submitted with the booking form at the time of reservation. This is nonrefundable. The balance is due eight weeks prior to arrival, this is also nonrefundable. A security deposit of $2,000 US is required, this will be reimbursed thirty days after the last day of visit. Included in the rental are heating, electricity, water, heating of the pool, two staff, and a professional chef (staff have one day off per week). Excluded are food and beverage, phone/fax charges, personal laundry, cars, and transportation (airport, train and excursions). These services may be provided at an additional charge. The rental period is from Saturday to Saturday.
